Farmer Bob

Farmer Bob is a first-generation farmer. Born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, he always had a love for agriculture. As an adult, he was able to explore this interest and settled upon popcorn as his crop of choice.

The decision to grow popcorn came about from a curiosity of where popcorn came from. After burning felled trees that were cleared to install a fence for his cattle, he realized the ground was now more fertile due to the ash from the burned trees. Deciding it would be a fun experiment to grow something in that enriched soil, he thought about what he should grow. Typical plants came to mind, such as corn, wheat, beans, etc.
