Why tubs rather than a bulk bag
This is the same weight as an 8 lb bulk bag minus two pounds, packaged for a different problem. Once a bulk bag is opened, all of it is exposed to your kitchen air for as long as it takes you to finish it, and popping performance depends on the moisture still sealed inside each kernel. With three tubs, two stay untouched while you work through the first, so the batch you make in month five pops like the batch you made in week one. Screw-down lids also stack and do not spill.

The corn
Yellow mushroom kernels pop into dense, round, close to spherical pieces with nothing fragile sticking out. That structure is what lets them survive a coating tumbler, a bagging step and a delivery box without shattering, which is why commercial caramel corn is almost always mushroom corn. Butterfly corn in the same process sheds its wings and turns a real share of the batch into sweet crumb.
For eating plain with butter and salt, use butterfly instead - it is more tender and its winged shape catches seasoning better.
Storage
Cool, dry, dark, off cold floors, lids down. Kept that way it holds for years. Do not refrigerate.

I had high hopes for this product. I over bought because I have family that eats a lot of popcorn. I gave my SIL a jar, asked for his opinion and he gave it a thumbs down! It’s not pleasurable when you are constantly removing hulls as you snack. The popcorn without hulls is tasty. I reached out to the co., was given instructions on how to combat the hills. It didn’t helped. I’m out a lot of $$$. I just stare at the box & get sad.
I love popcorn and so do my friends. I recently saw Bob's ad on Instagram and bought packages of the mushroom and butterfly un-popped popcorn. All I can say is WOW!!! I love them both! There's no more supermarket popcorn for me now. Nope. Cuz Bob's is the BEST! :-)

We did not like the taste and all the hulls.
I was so excited to try this popcorn, and boy it did not disappoint! The kernels pop up to giant rounded popcorn that is delicious. The mushroom shaped is so good that I think I’ll try the butterfly shaped when this is gone. That may be a while because it only takes 1/2 cup to pop a huge pan full.

pops best in air popper, not so great on stovetop. Probably will purchase a manual stovetop popper (instead of using regular covered pan) for better stovetop results. Even with good results, I feel that this product is very overpriced, especially since, when searching online for popcorn, I found a similar product at more than 50% cheaper.

We were excited to try this popcorn, extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. Each popcorn piece when popped was filled with hulls. And such little amounts, we tried all their suggestions. Customer service was excellent and responded to us.
