The bag-and-tub combination is the point
Bulk is the cheapest way to buy popcorn and the worst way to store it, because the moment the bag is open the whole eight pounds starts trading moisture with your kitchen. Bulk plus a tub solves that. Keep the bag closed as your reserve, decant into the tub as you go, and pop from the tub. You get bulk pricing with a sealed, rigid, stackable working container, and you never have a half-open eight pound bag slumped in a cupboard.

Choosing your variety
Mushroom pops into a dense round ball with no fragile arms. Pick it if you are making caramel corn, kettle corn, chocolate or cheese corn, or filling gift tins - anything where the popcorn gets coated or handled and must not shatter.
Butterfly pops into an irregular winged shape with far more surface area. Pick it if the popcorn is being eaten plain, buttered and salted. The wings are what hold seasoning, and the pieces are more tender to eat.

Storage
Keep the bulk bag closed, indoors, off cold concrete, away from heat vents and out of direct sun. Refill the tub as needed and keep its lid screwed down. Never refrigerate popcorn.

Best popcorn!
I really love white hull less popcorn and have been buying it most of my life. I was disappointed with this butterfly popcorn because it popped so small, smaller than my usual brand. I pop in avocado oil on the stove which has always been more reliable than an air popper. I probably won’t purchase again. If there is a white mushroom on sale, I may try that in the future. We eat popcorn just about every Sunday night year round!
I was disappointed that the "best by" date being so close to my purchase. What does that mean? If the popcorn has a shorter life it is reduced in price? Does it mean that as I live alone and am 76 to get a discount, I have to purchase at full price? I had ordered two plus two 8 pound items. Total 20 pounds. Then I saw the dates and felt that I did not understand, it hurt. Where do I go from here if I want to purchase more of your products?

This popcorn is is big and tasty! Our new favorite.
I have enjoyed the popcorn, but have noticed the husks are quite prevalent and a bit annoying. I found myself and my guests having to remove them from our mouths or pick them off the popped kernel prior to eating them.
This popcorn puts to complete shame every other popcorn out there - bar none. Excellent!

Most people have never had real popcorn in their life just like most people have never had a fresh egg.

The popcorn pops great--not a single unpopped kernel in our air popper. By volume a 1/2 cup of unpopped kernels seems to produce less, but that's because the kernels are much denser, so I'm guessing by weight it's the same. The flavor is great, it has a for more substantial chew than other popcorns.

This is the best popcorn I've ever had. I use an air popper and the popcorn cooks up great. There are few unpopped kernels and with some melted butter and some salt, it is delicious.
